Frequently Asked Wedding Questions

When is the chapel available for weddings?

The Marketplace Chapel is available for bookings for weddings on every Saturday. There are four 45 minute shifts on Saturdays for 12-12:45, 1-1:45, 2-2:45 and 3-3:45. A typical wedding service will take between 20-30 minutes for the ceremony, leaving about 10 minutes to meet with your guests in the chapel. Because of the tight schedule we often need to clear the chapel and prepare for the next wedding.

Who will the minister for the wedding be?

The Executive Assistant (Sylvia) will make all the arrangements for the minister to officiate the ceremony. Once the wedding is booked and confirmed, he will contact you and discuss the arrangements.

What does the wedding include & Cost?

The wedding ceremony at the Marketplace Chapel includes the Pre-Maritial counselling, the ceremony, and the cost for the minster. The counseling includes an online survey for each the Bride and Groom. The survey is done by the Enrich Pre-Martial Counselling Program no later than 2 weeks prior to the wedding. There will also be an addition counseling session, either in person or by phone to review the results of the survey.

Costs - $350 - includes the cost of the pre-martial counselling, the minister, chapel rental, 1 sound technician. This is the basic package for all the weddings.

There is a $200 non-refundable deposit required at the time of booking. The Balance remaining is to be paid a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the wedding.
